Mr. Benjamin Kweku Acolatse is the Deputy Chief Executive, Finance & Administration of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC). He is a Lawyer, Chartered Accountant and Computer Systems Analyst. He was educated at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), Ghana School of Law and University of London. He holds Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Bachelor of Laws degree in Law (LL.B), Master of Laws (LL.M), Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Management, Qualifying Certificate in Law and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Benjamin is pursuing a terminal degree in Business Administration (Ph.D. in Business Administration) and at the final stage awaiting public defense of his thesis. He has over 25 years of Executive Management experience in both private and public sector institutions across various fields; among others, Oil and Gas, Information Technology, Trade and Commerce, Academia, and Legal Practice; offering invaluable knowledge and experienced leadership to increase shareholder value whilst enhancing the livelihoods of employees under his care.
Prior to joining GNPC in September 2020, Benjamin held different roles in several industries including the fast-moving consumer goods sector, automobile industry, and the regulation and infrastructure development within the railway sector where his responsibilities included Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Works, Information Technology, Human Resources and Administration. He currently serves on the Boards of several companies in Ghana and is a Managing Partner of BE Law Consult.
Mr. Osei-Bonsu has served as a consultant on international projects on agency banking and fintech solutions
The Multimedia Group, Multi Credit and United Bank for Africa (Ghana) are some of the institutions he has worked with. He has proficiency in developing Financial Models and has over (20) industrial models used in various institutions including GCB Bank, Apex ARB Bank, Global Communities, and others. He is the consultant for the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) Professional Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics, as well as Audit and Fraud Analytics.
Mr. Osei Bonsu has over twenty (20) years’ progressive working experience and in-depth exposure in Audit/Investigations, Banking, Financial Modeling and Business Analytics and holds the following certifications:
Consultant in Computerized Accounting Systems / Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA USA.
A Certified Forensic Investigation Professional from International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals USA.
Certified Financial Modeler (CFM) from Institute of Financial Accountants UK,
Chartered Tax Practitioner (CITG).
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana (ICAG) and also holds Chartered Diploma Certification in Treasury and Financial Risk Management (ICAG).
Academically, he has an MBA in Finance, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a bachelor’s degree in commerce, from the University of Cape Coast-Ghana, a certificate in computerized Accounting Systems from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
Nana Dufie Amakye Ansah is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), U.K.,
and an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana, (ACIIG), with over 15 years’
experience in the Insurance industry both in Ghana and the United States of America. She
has previously worked as a Marketing Manager with Glico General Insurance Company as well
as Risk Financing consultant with responsibility for surety programs, fronting programs and
the Directors and Officers Liability program for Wells Fargo & Company. She also worked as an
Insurance auditor with responsibility for the review and placement of property and casualty
policies for syndicated loans issued by Wells Fargo.
Mrs. Amakye Ansah holds an MBA from Metropolitan State University, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She has also taken part in training programs and seminars both locally and internationally
to upgrade her technical, managerial and entrepreneurial skills.
